Let's start out with something relatively easy and painless, shall we? The best and worst single of 2007. 

The Best :  

Rihanna "Umbrella Featuring Jay-Z" - Rihanna always used to seem sort of annoying to me. I could never tell if it was her weird face or ho-hum songs, but recently I've become a supporter to her cause. This is one of those songs that will live on in jukeboxes for the rest of our lifetimes. I think the level of which I loved this song somehow made me incredibly attracted to her as well. Go figure. 

The Worst :

Souljaboy "Superman" - No wonder hip hop is selling more copies than ever; It's dead! Sweet merciful christ what is this crap? This literally sounds like they went to a school for retarded children, picked out the best looking one they could and threw him on a track made by someone in Garageband.... only worse. Where's the appeal? Even the dance is boring and uninventive. Dear ring-tone rap : Please go away and never come back. Hip Hop will not miss you when you're gone.
